Finally gave in...

Well...here it is...our blog, covering the happenings in our life. I had gone round and round with whether or not to start up a blog, and after much consideration, I decided that it might be fun. So here's our first post... =)

As most of you know, Rick and I are getting ready to welcome our first child into the world, a baby girl! We've named her, Isabella Sole-which means, "Beautiful Sunshine" in Italian. We can't wait to meet her! If only I didn't have to go through this whole "labor and delivery" thing between now and then. (What happened to the stork? Is he still around? Or did he get laid off due to the state of the economy?) =)

As of yesterday, I am 36 weeks pregnant and on the home stretch! Whoo-Hoo! It's been an amazing journey, but I'm definitely ready to get back to "pre-housing-a-human-in-my-body" life. We have 4 (or so) more weeks and then life as we now know it, will vanish...at least for a little while. We both have the standard mixed feelings about this huge life change. (Totally terrified and yet completely excited all at the same time.) We have throughly enjoyed our life as DINK's these past 6 years...but are looking forward to this incredible new season in our lives. So that's about it for now...BRING IT ON.
