FINALLY!!!! =)

As we all know, I probably had one of the most pleasant pregnancies in the history of pregnancy. But for me, one of the hardest parts of pregnancy was that it meant 9 months of going without many of the activities I love so much.
Well this past weekend we got to resume THE activity that I missed most...going to our dear friend Eric Kinser's houseboat to go WAKE BOARDING! It was a momentous occasion as it was Bella's first trip to the lake. (An activity she's going to need to get used to as many lake trips are definitely in her future.) =) Very thankfully, Bella was an absolute champion. And I think she even enjoyed her weekend about as much as we did. We had an absolute ball and can't wait to get back up there.
Friday-5:30am - At least one of us is wide awake and ready to hit the road.

Picking up the boat from storage...Dad and Lauren

Driving out to the houseboat. (We packed as though we were going to the lake for 2+ weeks...)

Boat Baby. This is pretty much what she did the entire weekend.

Her infant life-jacket...that was probably more expensive than buying a vest with 3 times the material.

Baby in a bathing suit! SO CUTE.

Bella's been trying to get to her thumb almost daily. This weekend, we caught her in the act.

First time getting back out in the water. It was HEAVENLY.

Meanwhile-back on the houseboat...here is Bella...doing what she does best. Sleeping.

Dad, trying to catch a 30 foot sturgeon. Or a trout. Unfortunately, there were no bites to be had.

Cutie-pie

Headin' out to ride again.

We couldn't stop taking pics of this little butter-bean.

Good morning smiles!

Night-time on the houseboat.

More smiles...

Dad and his little burrito-grand-baby.

Sean and Lauren

And again...loungin'.

Rick getting his wake-surf on.

Afternoon run...

Ok-this is a picture of my families painted toes. And yes...the picture does include my father's toes...which are...um...painted. Lauren asked him if she could paint his toes...and unbelievably, he said yes. I'm not sure why...but hopefully it made him feel like part of the group...or something? Anywho, it was really funny.

Sean-rippin' it up.

Dad and his little boat-babe.

Chillin' out.

And the man of the hour...our always wonderful host, Mr. Eric Kinser...holding Bella. YEA! Good job Kinser-you did it, and look, you didn't "break her." =)

6 Years!

6 years ago today, my dreams came true. I married my best friend and started life as a Cosentino. And here we are 6 years later, and I can honestly say that my love for Rick has only grown 10 fold. Whoever said the passion and fun in marriage goes away after the first few years was just flat out wrong...well, at least in our case. =)

Booty-your my rock, my best friend, my confidant, my joy, and now, the father of our beautiful baby girl. (UM...ok...I gotta stop as apparently someone is "cutting onions" in here. I thought the post-natal hormones were supposed to taper off at this point?! Good grief.) Anyways...Happy Anniversary Rick. I love you more than words can express.

Introducing Mr.and Mrs. William Faulconer!

Yesterday, 8/15/09, Rick and I had the privilege of standing next to our dear friends Will and Jenny at their wedding. Things started off a little rough. Apparently many people got a touch of food poisoning at the rehearsal dinner the night before. And I was one of the lucky ones. So I did not sleep the night before the big day. SO-naturally, the next morning I was dragging. Thankfully, my mom came over to help me with Bella as we scurried all over SJ to various appointments I had. I made it to the location just in time. It was stinking HOT outside...but luckily, our friend Paul Slayton, (the minister who officiated the wedding) is a smart guy and kept things short. And thank goodness...cause-if we ladies were sweating in our sleeveless dresses, the men were downright melting. Jenny was, hands down, the most beautiful bride I've seen yet. And Rick and I had to agree that it was probably the funnest wedding either of us has ever been to. We got to hang out with good friends that we haven't seen in awhile AND it was our first night sans Bella. Yes, I did get a little sad as my mom took her back to our house. I kept texting mom to see how she was doing. She apparently was a pretty good sport...as was my mom-who graciously stayed up late waiting until the party animals came home. (Sorry again Mom) Anywho-all in all, it was a fantastic day.

Lining up...
Anxiously waiting her turn...
Sweltering, but beautiful.
HOT DOG-it's official!
Bella wore an adorable white dress-although we couldn't get a great picture of it.
Beautiful Bride
My hot husband and beautiful baby. =)
Christmas card perhaps?
Kinda wishing Bella had more control over her extremities...this would have been a great shot.
Couple'a Cuties
Milk Drunk
The standard: "I'm so cute, even when I'm sleeping," shot.
Our friends the Vincents flew out for the wedding. They were part of our home group before moving to Coeur D'Alene, ID. We had an absolute BALL with them...which reminded me of how much we miss them living in CA. =(
Alisa, Krissy and I. GOOD TIMES. Lots of laughs last night...

Another thing about the Seifert-Faulconer wedding...their DJ...was AWESOME. He was SUPER interactive with the crowd and did a whole bunch of fun things. At one point, he passed out a bunch of costumes to the groomsmen, and proceeded to lead them in a choreographed version of YMCA, making a horribly predictable wedding song, hilariously fun.
BEST of luck Will and Jen. We are SO blessed to have you in our lives. We love you and will be praying for you and your new life together.
