FINALLY!!!! =)

As we all know, I probably had one of the most pleasant pregnancies in the history of pregnancy. But for me, one of the hardest parts of pregnancy was that it meant 9 months of going without many of the activities I love so much.
Well this past weekend we got to resume THE activity that I missed most...going to our dear friend Eric Kinser's houseboat to go WAKE BOARDING! It was a momentous occasion as it was Bella's first trip to the lake. (An activity she's going to need to get used to as many lake trips are definitely in her future.) =) Very thankfully, Bella was an absolute champion. And I think she even enjoyed her weekend about as much as we did. We had an absolute ball and can't wait to get back up there.
Friday-5:30am - At least one of us is wide awake and ready to hit the road.

Picking up the boat from storage...Dad and Lauren

Driving out to the houseboat. (We packed as though we were going to the lake for 2+ weeks...)

Boat Baby. This is pretty much what she did the entire weekend.

Her infant life-jacket...that was probably more expensive than buying a vest with 3 times the material.

Baby in a bathing suit! SO CUTE.

Bella's been trying to get to her thumb almost daily. This weekend, we caught her in the act.

First time getting back out in the water. It was HEAVENLY.

Meanwhile-back on the houseboat...here is Bella...doing what she does best. Sleeping.

Dad, trying to catch a 30 foot sturgeon. Or a trout. Unfortunately, there were no bites to be had.

Headin' out to ride again.

We couldn't stop taking pics of this little butter-bean.

Good morning smiles!

Night-time on the houseboat.

More smiles...

Dad and his little burrito-grand-baby.

Sean and Lauren

And again...loungin'.

Rick getting his wake-surf on.

Afternoon run...

Ok-this is a picture of my families painted toes. And yes...the picture does include my father's toes...which are...um...painted. Lauren asked him if she could paint his toes...and unbelievably, he said yes. I'm not sure why...but hopefully it made him feel like part of the group...or something? Anywho, it was really funny.

Sean-rippin' it up.

Dad and his little boat-babe.

Chillin' out.

And the man of the hour...our always wonderful host, Mr. Eric Kinser...holding Bella. YEA! Good job Kinser-you did it, and look, you didn't "break her." =)
