2 Months Old!

So-I started this post back on 9/4, the day our little bug turned 2 months old, but things got really busy, so I never finished the entry. But yes, we did have her 2 month check up and great news...she's still thriving! (And getting bigger!) Bella is now 10 pounds and is about 22.5 inches long. She's still considered on the smaller side of things...especially her little head...but her doctor is very pleased with her progress so far. Bella also got her first round of vaccinations and OH WOW...that was not a "pleasant" experience for any of us. Hearing her cry like that...brought tears to my eyes! But she more than survived. She was just sleepy and a little less hungry for the day and then BAM-right back to normal. She's very strong and can hold her head up for a good amount of time. She's getting a lot more vocal both in good ways and bad. She's finding new sounds, "using her words," and just finding her voice. And with finding her voice comes louder cries. (This is the not so nice part of finding her voice!) HA! =) I am personally just dying to hear that first giggle. It will be the cutest thing ever!

Let's see-what else...oh yea, I blew it big time on Thursday night and ate a bunch of cabbage and broccoli....which was fine on my tummy, but not for Bella. (Yikes) She was pretty much miserable ALL day yesterday. BUT all that fussing all day made for an excellent night's sleep. Last night was actually the 2nd time this week that she's slept through the night! (Which is awesome for me.) So, great job sweet pea-you rock!

I actually took this one this morning at 4:30am. At least one of us was wide-awake...um-ya, it wasn't me. =)

This one was also taken this morning. I think she's so happy because she loves her new jammies. She's pretty much grown out of all her previous jams because she's getting so long...so I had to pick up a few new ones that would accomadate her recent growth spurt.

Ky giving Bella some love. SO CUTE. Bella was enthralled with Kyleigh yesterday-she just wanted to watch her every move.

Tummy time...trying to get that head up off the bed is apparently pretty tough work. She grunts when trying to do this...it's funny. It looks like in this picture, she's just given up and gotten sucked into the vortex of the blinking-buzz-bee.

Spooky-eyes...she throws out this face all the time. And it ALWAYS makes me laugh.
