Bella doesn't get a lot of sugar. And this video showcases why. We had just gotten home from Bella's "Happiest Place on Earth" the Boardwalk, where she shared an ice cream cone with me. Yes, she came up with this lovely phrase all on her own and thought it was a hoot. Holy Hyper Baby!!
We are in the throws of potty training. When Bella is at home (or at Grammy's or the houseboat) she goes potty on the potty 80% of the time And we have only had maybe a handful of poopy diapers in the past almost 3 months. So I'd say we are over halfway there....hopefully. We are still working on Bella telling us (without a prompting) when she needs to go. So far, it's really hit or miss. Here is a cute video of what we are experiencing daily. AND WARNING-there is a quick flash of actual Bella poop. So beware.
Bella is very (VERY) into "reading." AKA: She's into memorizing the books we read to her and then reciting them (as best she can) back to herself. She will do this for 40 minutes...quietly....in her room. It's AWESOME! Oh, and another thing....she's also becoming quite particular about....well.....everything. But in this instance, you'll see that she's not interested in having me read to her. She actually tells me to "No talking." Um....I don't think so. Also-please note that our daughter already struggles with a bit of perfectionism. Oh geeze. Again....no idea why that would be.

Bella has a little friend named Kaylie that we often have park dates with. Here Bella and Kaylie work together to finish this puzzle. This is amazing. Because rarely do you see 2, two year olds working together as a team. And yea...Bella gets a little bossy toward the end...but hey, I'm just happy to see she's learning to work things out with others her age.
Here's another favorite activity of Bella's. Playing with the counting cards Aunt Cindy and Uncle Ray gave her for her 2nd birthday. Here she is, whippin' out her numbers. Go Bella!
Oh my goodness. These two. They are just beyond darling together. Bella has SUCH a special place in her heart for her Papa. It just melts your heart each time they are together. Here is a little game they played this weekend. (I think my dad needs to turn off wrestling when Bella's around....she's clearly getting ideas.)
And I took this video earlier tonight. I hate to sound like a braggart, but I'm gonna go there and just say.....we have a smart little girl. I am continually amazed by all she's constantly learning. Here she is lining up all the letters and numbers along the bathtub rim and telling me what each is. Smart cookie!
