We finally made it to the houseboat!!!! Due to this year's unseasonably cool weather, our first trip was much later in the season than usual. GRRRR!! BUT, we are thankful we finally go to go. We headed up last Friday with the McGregor's and Mace's...and holy smokes did we have a fantastic time. AND we were all very blessed by our parents with full-childcare for the weekend! No kiddos=much less responsibility!! YEA!
We had such a fun time. Some highlights included...getting a brand new toilet installed as well as a few other things...courtesy of the Twin Lakes Church High School ministry. (They had been using our boat the whole week prior and well....some things were slightly damaged.) Janelle got up her very first time wake surfing-so she definitely receives the award for "Best newbie at a seemingly easy, but rather difficult water sport." HA! Fabulous job Janelle! Allison received the award for "Most Improved Wakebaorder," mastering going in and out of both wakes seamlessly. (You should have seen her last run on Sunday...perfection.) Scott received the award for "Best Sport" enduing both sea-sickness and a bad back injury that prevented him from most of the water sports. Thanks for hanging with us Scott. Mike received the award for "Best Guns(out while the suns out)." I think I received the award for "Best time on the obstacle course." (Thank you long-legs gene.) And Rick always take the award for "Most gracious boat driver, best coach and hairiest back." Just teasing babe-I love you.

| This year we created an obstacle course of sorts. We strung 3 tubes together and began to run the gauntlet. We have videos of this too...but for fear of embarassing people, I've left them off. |

That weekend was so fun!! Thank you so much most of all for being such good friends! And, for always being so generous and iviting us along with you! Yay for lake weekends!!
